CLAIMS

What the profile supports

BOTANICAL CLAIM REVIEW
  • Do not infer permission from traditional-use or wellness wording.
  • Check the exact proposed wording against the current EU claims position and Polish advertising context.

The EU Register explains that some botanical function claims remain under consideration. This profile therefore does not present a marketing claim as authorised.

03

RESTRICTIONS

Conditions that can change the answer

  1. 01

Polish GIS Team Resolution 7/2020 sets powdered root below 3 g in the recommended daily portion.

  2. 02

The same opinion sets a maximum of 10 mg total withanolides in the recommended daily portion and calls for a quantitative specification.

  3. 03

Its recommended warning excludes children, pregnancy and lactation and addresses sedative, sleep and antiepileptic medicines.

04

POLISH NOTES

National regulatory layer

Treat Resolution 7/2020 as an ingredient-specific Polish review layer and preserve its scope: Withania somnifera, adult supplements and the specified daily portion.

A product notification is not an approval. Formula, labelling, claims and presentation still need product-level review.
